I have been performing as well as work, home and baby Bug will allow as well. Here is my progress on Olympic Sock #1.
It's about 7 1/4 inches, instead of the 9 called for by the pattern, but I don't think I'll make it that long. 9 inches from cuff to top of foot on me is nearly a knee sock. So, maybe another 1/4 - 3/4 inches and I'll be ready to turn the heel. Tomorrow I will bring the sock to work with me and knit during my conference call, and knit a row every 20 or so minutes to give my wrists a break from the keyboard. I hope I'll get far enough to put OS#1 aside and cast on OS#2 while I'm at work. That way I can work on the heel at home, where I have my book and a little time to concentrate.
Oh yeah, and this is what the Bug looks like when he's too tired to finish his dinner of carrots and peas.
Note how, while rubbing his eyes with tiredness, he got the carrots and peas smeared all the way up to his forehead.
Well, we knit-letes need our rest, so off to bed for me. Living life is pretty tiring. But in a good way. :-)
